Grower FAQs
Short, practical answers to common questions from Seedbank customers. For detailed policies and legal information, please refer to the Help Center.
Seed laws vary by state and region. Seeds are typically sold as collectible or novelty items and you are responsible for understanding and following local laws regarding germination and cultivation in your area.
Most new growers have success with compact, resilient strains from our Autoflower Seeds and Feminized Seeds collections. Look for strains that mention easy or beginner friendly in the description and avoid very long flowering sativas for your first run.
Each seed grows into a single plant. If you have a 3 pack, you can run three plants. Many home growers run 2 to 4 plants in a typical 2 x 4 or 3 x 3 tent. Always check local plant count rules where you live.
Most autoflower grows take about 8 to 10 weeks from sprout to harvest. Photoperiod grows usually take 4 to 6 weeks of veg plus 8 to 10 weeks of flower. Drying and curing typically add another 2 to 4 weeks before buds are ready to enjoy.
If you need help with a specific plant or issue, start with the relevant section in this Grower Success Center then contact support if you still need one on one help. Clear photos and a short description of your setup make it easier for us to give good advice.
